Drone company inks delivery agreement with Moose Cree First Nation

Drones will deliver letters, parcels, medical supplies and more

Drone Delivery Canada (DDC) has landed a $2.5-million contract to deliver goods via drone to Moose Cree First Nation communities.

On Dec. 5, the company announced it would use its Sparrow model drone, capable of carrying a 5-kilogram payload, to carry letters, general parcels, medical supplies and other general necessities between the Moose Cree communities.
