Live Animal Shows (Fridays and Saturdays Only)

A Very Batty Show

Bats...some of the most misunderstood and mysterious animals. Meet live bats and learn about some of the amazing adaptations of these masters of the night.
Animals That Give Us The Creeps!

Meet some live creepy, crawly and slithery animals. We will dispel myths and misconceptions so that hopefully you do not fear them when you see them up close...and maybe even touch them!

Spooky Sunday Workshops

Oct 8th – Jungle Cat World 5:30pm 7:30pm 9:30pm

For one day only get to see exotic animals like a Serval cat, fennec fox, boa, cockatoo, skunk, tegu, lemur

Oct 15th – Halloween Stage Makeup 5:30pm 7:30pm 9:30pm

Learn from some of the best from Cambrian College on how to make your fake blood bloodier and your gore even goreier

Oct 22nd – The Amazing René's Ghoul and Magic Spooktacular Show 5:30pm 6:30pm - All Ages

A high energy, whimsical, amusing and entertaining escapade of friendly, funny and colorful characters intertwined with a delightful and memorizing display of sleight of hand, dexterity and magic. A fun filled family show that is guaranteed to keep all the ghouls and ghost howling with laughter.

Oct 29th - Halloween Costume Contest 5:30pm – 6:30pm

Come dressed up in your Halloween costume for a chance to take home some devilishly delightful prizes!

Oct 29th - The Return of Dr. Dread! 6:45pm – 9pm

Back by popular demand, this 20-minute live show features the science of Halloween.
Prepare for batty science demonstrations and supernatural twists!

The Big Nickel Show Returns!

All ages (7-11pm)

8pm 9pm 10pm

Join us for the Big Nickel Show, a celebration of 150 years in the City of Greater Sudbury’s history. Projected onto the surface of Sudbury’s iconic landmark, this 15-minute light and video show highlights key moments in Sudbury’s rich heritage.

Pumpkinferno All ages (7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)

Enchanting outdoor award-winning exhibit created by Upper Canada Village
Over five thousand hand-carved pumpkins
Unique 19 sets made entirely of individual fibre pumpkins
Dress warmly and enjoy a 30-45 minute stroll on our outdoor trails.

Tunnel of Terror Ages 12+ (5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)

Canada’s ONLY underground Halloween experience located seven storeys below the Earth's surface.

*This experience is not for the faint of heart and is recommended for ages 12 and up. Children 6 and under not permitted.

Spider Dogs & S’mores

Back by popular demand Halloween snacks are available for purchase at the Copper Cauldron Café located outdoors and at the Copper Café inside Dynamic Earth.

Come enjoy special fall treats and warm-up around the campfires after strolling through the pumpkin patch.

Halloween Volunteers

Dynamic Earth is THE place to volunteer this Halloween! Be an actor/spooker and scare visitors in our underground Tunnel of Terror, lead frighteningly fun activities in our Family Halloween galleries, guide visitors as they roam around our award winning outdoor PUMPKINFERNO exhibit or help sell spooktacular treats. Unearth a friend or two and volunteer for the haunting at Dynamic Earth.
